Beauty // Hair // Adventures In Balayage

Taking inspiration from Jules at Sincerely, Jules and this pic of Jessica Beil, I booked in for some dip dying or "balayage" at my local Headmasters salon and took advantage of their 50% off colour sale.

The stylist (Georgia at the Teddington branch) back-combed sections of hair and painted on the bleach (bleach because my hair has been coloured so many times in the last year that putting on normal colour wouldn't have worked).

This is during and once the bleach had been washed out - it was left on for about 35 minutes.

And this is the finished product (excuse the shampoo ad style swishing).

I'm very pleased with it.  I'll probably see how much it fades over the next few weeks then go back in for more, I eventually want it to be more ombre.  I think it'll look good in the spring/summer.
